I recently upgraded to Vista, against my will. I had problems with a
year-old computer and was given a replacement computer with Vista. Great,
right? I like a lot of things, but some "wizard" installed Windows Mail and
the next thing I knew, all my Yahoo! mail appeared in "Mail," and disappeared
from Yahoo! I liked being able to check my email from any computer.
Luckily, my Yahoo! "sent" file was not affected, and my addresses are still
on Yahoo! I don't want to transfer them over because I'm afraid they will
also disappear from Yahoo! I have to keep going back and forth, sending mail
from Yahoo! and reading them on Windows Mail. When I want to forward
something, I have to go back to Yahoo!, find the address, copy and paste...
It is getting annoying. And if I am not at this computer, I can't check my
in-box. In fact, some mail still goes to Yahoo! to my in-box or trash. When
I reset my password for this discussion group, Microsoft sent it to Yahoo!
and not to Windows Mail. Go figure.
Can I have mail go to both places? I like some of the features of Windows
Mail, but I don't want to give up my Yahoo! It is Yahoo! Mail Plus, not free
email.
Thank-you,
Rosemarie
