You must contact the host to have this done:

Password Protect Part of a Web: (Requires FrontPage extensions on
server, and host must support subwebs with unique permissions)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301554
(FP2000)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825451
(FP2003)

Protect individual pages: (Requires Windows Server with support for
ASP and Access database)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825498

Once again, you must contact your host to have this done on the server. If
they will allow it.

My server has put a password protected area on my webste. Every Client
Gallery is in a folder named "CLIENTS" When someone links to a gallery that
is in the "Clients" folder... it asks for a username and password. In
otherwords when there is a link to anything that starts with clients/... it
will stop and ask for the usename and password. The company gave me one
usename and one password. So if any client gets in then they can see eveyone
else's gallery also. Is there any way to put my own usename and password for
each client without bothering the server? Thanks so much!

Each client would have to be put in its own folder or subweb and permissions
set up individually. Unless your host allows you to do this on your own,
you'll need to contact them. Or, ask them what type of database and
security applications they support, and build your own.
