How can I get a clean install of IE 6.0? I have SP2 and have lost a ton of
functionality and abilities, I want to start fresh. Do I just delete and then
update?

Greg

This usually means that spyware was installed before SP2.

First eliminate any spyware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

A reinstall may not help, depending on what problems you are actually
having, which you have not particularlised. Nor do we know what OS you are
using. Please provide more information about not only the precise problems
you are seeing, but your OS as well.
