My 8 year old clock radio packed up yesterday. It dead.

This is not good cos now when I wake up I don't know what time it is, today I got up at 5.30am :confused:

So I figured I gotta buy a new one.

I want one of those DAB radio/clock alarms, so anybody else got one they can recommend?

I want one that looks like the PURE Evo series, but I don't wanna buy a PURE model cos a Google search reveals many probs with Volume control - it gets stuck.

There's a Ferguson model out there, Stereo, Argos have it in a sale for just £50.00 (these things are expensive) but it has no extra sockets, like USB port for firmware upgrade and stuff.

That don't bother me too much as long as it look fairly purdy, works and sounds Ok.

So, anybody got any recommendations?

I'm not after a tuner here (yet) just a small bedside DAB radio/clock/alarm that has a wooden surround.
