Hi there,

Right, i am new to this. But i will try my best. I purchased a PC about 6 months ago, primarily to play around with music software. I enjoy playing around with different noises etc. Also I wanted to be able to run photoshop and just general microsoft office software. However, I dont know a huge amount about computers, and one of my friends has informed me that I didnt make a great choice when it came to choosing a decent graphics card.

My system spec is:
ECS P965t-a motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU at 2.40GHz
WIndows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
3326MB RAM

The current graphics card I have is a ATI Radeon X1550

Is this any good? What benefits would upgrading the graphics card have? And given my current spec what graphics cards would suit my system? If I was to purchase a graphics card, I would enjoy to buy something that would not become outdated quickly, but I would not enjoy to spend any more than £150(ish)

Thanks for your time

As long as your not going to be doing serious gaming it should be fine. :)

If your just messing around with sounds and music- then that card will suit you. Unless you plan on playing graphic heavy games, then there wont be any difference in buying a newer card.
