I've been using this printer for four months but, recently, I've had to
reinstall Windows(XP Pro). Now, I can't do things I *SWEAR* I was able to
before!

I'm working on a project which necessitates the use of both full bleed and
duplex. However, if I select 'borderless' then duplex becomes unavailable -
even if I check it first, the printer doesn't honour the setting.

I have done projects of this type before (postcards from MS Publisher) and I
must have used both before - I don't have the time to waste standing over
the printer and inserting each sheet of card separately.

Is this a problem with the driver - or have I dreamt the whole thing (i.e.
being able to do it before)?

As the drivers are similar for the entire 'i' range, could someone please
tell me whether it's ever been possible to print both full bleed and duplex
at the same time? Canon have been *useless*.

This project needs to be completed *BEFORE* Easter (the client only told me
last Friday) and I've been besieged by problems.

Thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

On my i865 I can select borderless with the duplex enabled . Using XP Pro
and 'v1.71a' print driver.

Did you reinstall the printer driver that came with the printer on CD,
or did you take the XP default install from the OS? (If the i9000 is
even included in XP). The XP default driver will typically be
shortchanged in performance.
