I think I solved my own form problem

Very Joyful \(Victoria\)

I started to ask for help about a dozen times with my form problem, but kept
digging until I figured it out myself. I read several MS Knowledge Base
articles and also visited http://frontpageforms.com for help.

My form (http://tinyurl.com/kaxo) displayed the dreaded "Frontpage Save
Results Component." Yet, I *knew* that my extensions were properly
installed. I'd just had them redone by a supervisor at my ISP and other
things requiring extensions worked fine (i.e., a hit counter and publishing
via http).

I imported the page containing my form to another web and published it
there. This web is not hosted with my ISP, but with an actual host. It
worked just dandy.

So... I figured that (after reading http://tinyurl.com/kaxi ) it's not just
the extensions, but something about an "email transport" which I'm thinking
my ISP doesn't support. (I'm temporarily using the webspace that my isp
includes with my email account.)

Hope this helps others with the same problem.

Curious.

Can you open http://tinyurl.com/kaxi dirctly in
FrontPage? If not, the server extensions aren't installed
for your Web site. If so, try opening and saving the
page, or recalculating hyperlinks and see if that fixes
it.

If not, ask the ISP to open the server's administration
web page, check the server's "Configruation Settings" for
a valid SMTP server and default sender's address.

I'm guessing you meant http://tinyurl.com/kaxo and yes, I can edit it
directly with FP. I saved it live and also recalculated the hyperlinks as
you suggested.

I don't anticipate that I'll be able to get Cox to do anything like you
suggest as this is just my personal webspace, but I'll give that a go when I
have time to sit on hold for a while.

(I will be moving this to paid hosting soon, but I guess it would be good to
figure out the problem anyway.)

Thanks for your suggestions and help.
