I think Comcast is screwing up.

After getting the message from the news server that my reply was not
found, I tried again after resubmitting it, and the original reply
message
showed up. I think there is something flakey with the Comcast newsgroup
server.

Comcast is not supporting its own news servers well. You should be
using the free netnews.comcast.gigannews.com server. Giganews has
nearly 30 days retention, rapid propagation, extensive newsgroup
holdings. Look at your Comcast support site for details on how to
subscribe the the Giganews service.
