i start computer i get a override message ands puter wont start

when i start my puter i get a blue screen with the message
override on it and nothing happens what would cause this?
 
Are you saying that the blue screen contains nothing more than the single
word "override"? If so, that is not a Windows XP behavior. Could your
computer be infected with a boot virus?
