I somehow found myself messing around with Mozilla Firefox (which I use on my
computer) and have inadvertently deleted the Explorer and also (more
importantly) my Windows Mail from the windows start button. The only way I
can access my email is by doing a "windows mail" search. How can I get in
reinstalled... I thought I was choosing Mozilla Firefox to be my default but
did more damage than I imagined. Can anyone help with this?

Navigate to C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\ and open that folder, then right-click
on WinMail.exe. Select "Pin to Start Menu" and/or "Add to Quick Launch".

Windows Mail is a part of Vista, and very hard to delete without doing the
same to the rest of Vista. However, it's easier to hide it by deleting any
icons that make it easy to start.

On your desktop, double click on Computer, then C:, then Program
Files, then scroll down the list to Windows Mail and double click on it.
Find WinMail.exe on the list if it's there, or WinMail otherwise.
Right click on it, then click on Create Shortcut, then approve putting
the shortcut on your desktop.

You should now have a shortcut icon added to your desktop, and
can double click on to start Windows Mail.
