I screwed up a system link, I think

FP 2002; NT 4 SP6; lots of disc space

After working on my file associations, trying to get all images to default
to the same editor, gif images now do not show in
Preview mode or Preview in Browser. However, they publish to sites and
display fine. Jpegs work normally.

Also, my OE mail signature no longer displays the gif logo, so it appears to
be a system problem.

It seems that I must have broken a link to a built-in viewer, or??? Any
idea what's going on here, anyone?

Run a repair reinstall on IE/OE

If you have reinstalled IE/OE and FP, recommend you try an IE newsgroup before messing w/ registry

| Thanks, Stefan. That's one of the first things I did, plus installing all
| current patches for Windows and NT. However, I did not edit the registry, as
| the installation program allowed me to re-install over the existing code.
| Should I do it again, editing the registry this time?
