I am using Outlook in Office XP. I clicked on

Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or address
books>Outlook Address Book>Remove

Please do not ask me to explain the reason. I still have the email
addresses in Contacts and would like to re-establish the Outlook Address
Book. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thank You

Tools, Email Accounts, Add a new directory or address book. Choose the
Additional Address books type and then choose the Outlook Address book.

I followed your instructions and a new address book was provided, but it is
empty. Do you know how to get the email addresses added to it?

I have discovered that by clicking on the Contacts folder and selecting
Properites, I can select to show the Address Book from the Contacts folder.
This works and would be satisfactory, except that email addresses are listed
in First Name order even though my Contacts are in Last Name order. I can't
find a way to change that order.

Thank you for the reply.
Donald
