Ever since I uninstalled the firewall , which I didn't like, my home computer network cannot share anything. Where do I go to start to figure out what is the problem?

What is the name of the firewall? Did the vendor provide un install
procedures?

Maybe LSP-Fix will help. Try it - its free - doesn't hurt to have it

You might get help in comp.security.firewalls.
