When I start Outlook I receive the message "Could not read Calendar". I
cannot see my calendar except in a list.

Diane Poremsky said:what type of email acct do you have?
luckyk said:I did try that. Including running Scanpst. The 'scanpst' did find errors
but was able to correct them.
My calendar doesn't show anything in outlook. Not
appts/days/weeks/months/nada. I just get an error that says "Could not
read
the calendar." Because it's an MSN email account, I can still see all my
appts there but the interface isn't as nice as Outlook.
I guess it's time to punt!

Diane Poremsky said:I don't think it's an msn problem if you can see the list of appointments
but can't change to the day/week/month view - assuming you tried. (View
menu) It really indicates a problem with the view. I forget - did you try
detect and repair (office diagnostics)?
luckyk said:Is this a new thing? I've used calendar and mail in Outlook since last
year
(w/a paid MSN account using Outlook connector). It worked fine until a
couple of weeks ago. I'm also not sure what a table view is, but in
the
past, it displayed like I expected it to.
Perhaps this problem is associated with MSN migration to Windows Live?
I
tried to update my MSN account but couldn't because parental controls
were
active. I'd really like to keep those active.

you're using the outlook connector with a paid msn account? Outlook
won't
display it except in a table list?

Diane Poremsky said:does the status in the connector (look in the dropdown on the Connector
toolbar) say anything? Also make sure you are looking in the correct
calendar - you may have two, depending on how you have it configured.
I'd try two things:
find and delete the pst used by the connector. it will redownload everything
from msn.
remove the acct and re-add it.
