I ran auto update, now all i get is my background pic

I ran the auto update, downloaded and installed the updates. and.....

now when i log in to either (of the two) user accounts, all that i get is the background pic. NO icons, NO start menu, NO taskbar!!!!!!!!

Anyone know what i gotta do?

Uninstall the updates you recently installed or do a

system restore to a time before the update.
It is always best to install these updates one at a time
with at least two days in between.This will help
determine if the updates have created a problem and helps
you to know which one it was thats causing it.

Oh ya, shut off your auto update feature and just do it

yourself,many updates you will find you don't need.

xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm.he's got fixes fo XP look for your
fix like restore desktop icon and click it ,then look for
the restore the start button click it,restore task bar
click it.please post a reply let me know how you like
that site.
