according to the microsoft web site, xp media center
edition is an enhanced version of xp pro. Does that mean
that I have the network connectivity options available,
such as logging into corporate domains like the microsoft
redmond domain? If so, how do I do it? Is it
via 'network connections?' I can see the network through
the wireless 80211 card in my laptop, but do not know how
to set up access to the domain. Please help!

Right click on My Computer, and choose Properties. Click on the second tab,
Computer Name, and choose Change. Choose domain, and enter your domain name.

You'll need a few things to log onto a domain - obviously, the domain name,
a user account with sufficient privileges that can make a computer account
on the domain, and you'll need a (perhaps separate) user account to actually
logon to the domain.

Microsoft's internal corporate domains are not available to the general
public.

Have never been on XP MCE, but if it's really a "super" XP Pro, I see no
reason you can't logon to a domain.
