I opened a file with a macro menu and now excel opens with the ma.

downloaded and opened a file with Macros from work. I do have a current
version of Norton and I'm sure the file did not have a virus. I now cannot
open Excel without displaying the menu that was in the original file. I even
tried re-installing excel. How do I get the excel that I know and love back?
 
Try view / toolbars / customise / Toolbars tab - Reset

Then go sort out the guy that built the file :-)
