When I attempt to mount our Access database, I got

“An unexpected error occurred - I/O Error 0”
Or
“An unexpected error occurred - I/O Error 6”

The data stored in the MS Access database becomes inaccessible. Now
please suggest, what I do to recover my data

"mount" your database? I'm not aware that there's any way to do that!
Exactly what are you doing when the error occurs? Are you using code? If so,
what's the code?

To resolve the error messages, you need to modify the registry or you
need to recover your lost database by using powerful Access Database
Repair applications. These tools can generally recover and restore
inaccessible Access (.accdb and .mdb) database files. I suggest you to
Stellar Phoenix Access Recovery Software to recover your corrupt access
files. First try the demo version than go for full version. You can
download it from http://www.repair-access-file.com

But we don't know yet if his database is corrupted. IO error is
certainly not an error I've seen with corruption.

Ahhh, so you're shilling for a software vendor.

To all readers - For more information on corruption including possible
causes, determining the offending PC, retrieving your data, links,
official MS KB articles and a list of vendors who state they can fix
corruption see the Microsoft Access Corruption FAQ at
