I Need to remove option to change font

Hi,

I have been asked to set up word 2000 running on XP to not allow an
users to be able to change the font, the standard font is to be Aeria
12 points with left and right margins to be set the same size.

I dont want to delete all fonts - too dodgy !!
and think I should be able to do something with the toolbars but
think this could be wate of time as user may highlight text and righ
click to access fonts menu !!

Would appreciate a solution, as I have searched the web and FAQs wit
no luck. Solution needs to be fairly easy as I am not a VB coder o
programmer.

Why allow anyone to access the computer. Just give them a pencil and paper.
That is one of the most Draconian measures I have ever heard on setting up a
computer.
 
As Tricia suggests, this is the wrong approach. In Word 2003 you can set up
templates that limit users' ability to modify styles and other formatting,
but you really don't want to prevent them from using any other font *ever.*
Instead, provide templates for the types of documents you want them to
create. Set Arial as the default font in those templates. Then instruct the
users in the correct use of the templates. This is a user education issue,
and compliance can be compelled, if necessary, by making it a condition of
employment. But if you set up the templates to make it easy for users to use
the appropriate styles, they will thank you both for that and also for not
interfering where you have no need to.
