Hi everyone,

I am generating a slide show for the assembly of a
structure. I have and item I have moved into the slide,
now after a few actions I need to fly the same item out.
Is this possible? I need a quick answer as I am due to
present in 2 days.

Cheers,

Aussie

Aussie,
It depends on which version of PPT you have. Using PPT 2002 or 2003, you can
set up an exit animation to do what you want. If you have one of the older
versions, let us know and someone will give you the details on how to fake
it with multiple slides.

Kathy,

Your hint of multiple slides did it, a bit of brain bashing and I worked it out. Ta for the help, I'm on the frog and toad again.

Aussie,

(this guy understands the real English, btw)..

For PowerPoint 2000 you will have to fake it. You will need to draw a
rectangle on the slide, with its background set to "Background". This
rectangle will be invisible, and in front of the object you want to "Exit".
Make the object fly across the screen behind the rectangle and when it
appears from behind it, it will look like it has appeared and keeps flying
out. Make sense?

It was sound of Willie Nelson lyrics as sung within range of St. Mary's bells
that had me cackling.
