My idea in msaccess is not bad. But I need to be more educated in msaccess
report. When I think of report I have lot of doubts and confusion. Could you
pls give me some idea? Even a good web tutorial will suffice.

Check out the Northwinds sample database that ships with Access and view the
reports there. Also, use any of the database templates that ship with
Access and see how they work.

When I started using Access, I would use the templates and then modify them
to meet my needs. Most of them do a pretty good job.

As question I think is too big, but let's try to tell something about.
Access, in opposition to its competitor, is a mix plattform. It's sintesys
of Back End, Front End and Report Module.

About reports, you have to know that they are what you can print of the data
you manipulate.
It's like a form but pointed to the printing: that's because you can print
Form, expecially if you set a report like, but
in short time it will appear not confortable.
The report can have a data source different from the form you are seeing
(less or more data) e it's itself programmable like a normal form: in fact
it has events (even if different from the form). Almost all the propriety
you have in a form, are present in a report (many of them even if doesn't
appear in intellisense, at least works - look for esample the propierty
picture - ).

In opposite it has several points to his favour vs the forms: the running
sum, the possibilty of explodyng the group of data.
Of course, the report are only readable, so you can't manipulate as a form.

So think about the report a cool way to print your informations.

So what doubt have you got?

If you are using Access 2003, click on Office Online in the Help pane. If
not, visit http://Office.microsoft.com. In either case, follow the links to
Training. You'll find a wide variety of very helpful, free, brief, online
training courses.

Most of the introductory level self-study books on Access include good basic
information on Reports. Reporting has changed little over the years, so even
an "obsolete" book's section on Reports is likely to be helpful. I don't
recall any books that are _only_ about reports. If you can, visit a
bookstore that is well-stocked with computer books and browse; if not, there
are recommendations at the FAQ site, http://www.mvps.org/access. That site
itself has a wealth of information, and links to many other sites. There are
additional links at http://ntaccess.tripod.com.

And, you can learn a lot by just lurking in this newsgroup and reading the
Questions and Answers.

I may also have a few recommendations, and man
