I need to know how to create a report from a category of contacts

I would like to be able to highlight a category of contacts and run a report
that shows all contact information INCLUDING notes. I have to provide status
reports to clients who cannot receive V cards. If I could just get a summary
of the category that applies to that clients business, that would do it.

Again, I have my contacts separated by category and corresponding notes in
the note section. I would like to put all of that in an emailable format.

Chef,

There are a couple of ways to get it done.

In BCM 2007, there is a report that will include all business note items
(except for the built-in notes on the record itself - no idea why that is
the case, but there's an easy workaround - copy the main notes into a new
Business Note item, and it'll show up).
BCM 2003 does not have that report.

You can always create a custom report if you know SQL and pull data directly
into Excel

Recommended solution would be BCM 2007.
