I need to install a printer for each user - why?

I installed a shared network printer on an xp machine
while using the admin account.

When I login with any other account, there are no
printers installed.

I have to install a printer for each user account.

This is not feasible when I have hundreds of users.
This is the first time this has happened with xp pro.

Any suggestions?
