D Dave Peterson Nov 15, 2004 #2 If you can treat the value as text, just precede your entry with an apostrophe: '0000123 If you want to have a numeric value in that cell, just type it normally, but format the cell to show the leading 0's: Format|Cells|number tab|custom category Type: 0000000 (as many leading 0's as you need)
