Does anyone know how to disable the keyboard and mouse
just in one hardware profile ? Unlike other devices,
device manager does not give you the option to disable the
mouse or keyboard in this hardware profile.

Copy the full hardware profile and name it something like "NoKbdMouse", boot
to the new profile and delete the hardware.

That won't work for two reasons :
1)if you remove the keyboard it just reinstalls itself
anyway
2) I only want to delete the keyboard and mouse in one
hardware profile - if you simply remove the hardware you
are removing it from the O/S not just one hardware
profile.

If they are PS/2 mouse and keyboard you can disable the i8024prt driver in
the hardware profile. That's the driver that accepts input from the PS/2
ports and hands it off to the keyboard and mouse drivers.

You won't be able to disable the devices but disabling the ports they
are attached to will have the same effect except, of course, you won't
be able to use them for anything else in that profile.
