I need tech help

I saved a Few files onto a floppy from my computer. In my
Documents there are short cuts to these files. I do not
want the files stored on my computer, only the floppy. How
do I delete the short cut in the My documents file?
 
What OS are you using and how did you save the files to
diskette (i.e. from an application)?
 
I'm not sure that I see the problem. What happens when you click on the
shortcut and press "delete"?
