I need some help from someone regarding my Outlook address book.

I recently changed jobs and moved out here to the West Coast from Texas.
Before leaving, I backed up my Outlook e-mail Address Book and was successful
in transferring it to the Outlook program on my new computer here at my new
job yesterday. Unfortunately, for some reason known only to God and Bill
Gates, the "Display Name" field now consists of the person's actual e-mail
address (i.e.: the "E-mail Address" field) rather than the "Name" field,
which is where I have the person's actual name and firm neatly spelled out.
What I want to do is to change the "Display Name" field to where it matches
the "Name" field, so that when I send an e-mail out to someone, it shows as
going out to "Dan Ramsey / Nexcore Capital" and not to
"(e-mail address removed)". Since there are over 1,100 entries in my
current Address Book, to go in and manually change each entry will take two
weeks. Is there a way that I can do this "en masse" for all 1,100 entries?

No. Each version of Outlook uses a different format for the Display Name and
that format is not subject to user control (other than changing it
individually on a per Contact basis). The format of the Display Name is of
so little consequence that there has been no need to create a utility to
change it globally. I'm curious why you feel the need to change it.
