I am looking for the rails for an IBM NetVista computer. These are
for harddrives and other drives. They are designed so the drives
slide out without removing screws, which is a nice feature except I
cant seem to find these rails anywhere, and it only came with one pair
for one drive and I have several drives and would like to put them on
some other drives so I can exchange drives when I want. I went on the
IBM site, could not seem to find anything for the word "rails". Their
site is not easy to use or find anything. When I finally did go to
their page to order parts online, the page keeps erroring out. I am
also sure that these parts are cheap and I'd have a minimum $50 or
more order plus outrageous shipping. Is there another place to get
them? Maybe some generic parts that will still fit this machine???
The rails that come with it are green plastic and have holes for the
screws to the drive itself. On the outer side there are snaps to snap
them into place. Can anyone lead me to these online, or maybe an
actual store? Or if anyone has any in their parts box to sell. let me
