I need my .ink files back!

I was getting rid of some shortcuts under the all
programs in the start menu and deleting some .ink files
accidently. These are things like the MSN Messenger
shortcut and things like that that are kindof embedded in
the computer. It came up with a warning when i deleted
it, but I didn't think I would need the shortcut. Now,
when I try to use the shortcut on the start menu, it
searches for the .ink file, but can't find it. I need
help!!

Actually the files are LNK files. You may still find them in the
Recycle Bin.

After all these years of using Windows, I had no idea that shortcut
files were actually LNK rather than INK. Good grief.

Thanks, Thorsten! (I'm not the original poster.) That means I can...
search for shortcuts... and everything...
