Hi, i am back to my complaining :(

I need a better graphics card for my laptop. i can't replace the MOBO.

So i have already asked if there is a USB card!

But now, is there a PSI, serial, parrellel, or even one that pluggs in to the docking bay port on my machine

does anything like this exist?

I'm afraid not KGB, I can't think of any way you could upgrade your graphics card. Is it running things too slow?

If so, you could try lowering some of the settings in your Graphics Card properties panel and it should yield an improvement. Things like turning AntiAliasing off can make a massive performance difference (if you can sacrifice the quality a bit).
 
At the end of the day, laptops wernt built to play games im afraid :(. Thats why they didnt bother making inter-changable graphics chips. It could easily be done if they tried, but I doubt laptop makers will even bother.

AlienWare have a few gaming laptops out in there extremely high priced gaming range, and suprsing or not, there not cheap isnt cheap. There cheapest at £1, 500 says it all! And for that you get a measly FX5700 gfx card.

What kinda battery life do you get when playing a graphically demanding game? I reckon you'd be lucky to get 2 hours gaming in!
 
Chris, desktops beat mine at one thing... graphics.

Ian, its not too slow, it just stumbels, leaving things black very occasionaly

Reefy, if you gave me the cash, i will buy one! i get about 4 hrs in on one battery, then i switch to batt 2, and get another 3 hrs.
