no LAN or highspeed internet connection i can not run the
wireless system on my computer. I need someone to pretty

what im doing. i searched this site and couldnt find
anything. the other 2 computers run just fine with the

email me or respond to this post. thanks alot.

Each computer must have a PCI WiFi card added. The router
you have, is it a wireless router? It seems that is what you
are indicating.

Go to http://www.linksys.com
Look for http://www.linksys.com/edu/ This is an tutorial on
LAN setup.

Don't worry, this is not straight forward. I recently
setup a LAN using a wireless router, but not the broadband
connection. Go ahead and follow the LINKSYS tutorial.

I don't know if they tell you this in there, but D-Link
tech support sure didn't know how to share a dial-up
connection after I had a LAN set-up.

Just remember if this is what you need to do, one way is
to setup a PROXY SERVER. This is basically a program
that runs on your main computer (the one with dial-up) and
tells all the other computers to go out through the modem
to look for the internet. (You have to put the IP address
of your main computer as the Gateways for your other
computers).

Anyway, don't let them tell you it can't be done.
