I had two laptop computers conected in a wireless
network, both of them have windows 2000 pro as their OS;
now i bought another computer (a desktop) wich came with
windows XP home edition; i want to conect all of them in
the network with the desktop as the server and the two
laptops as clients, but i can't.
I ran the network set up wizard on the new computer,
created a network set up disk; but when i go tho the old
computers i cannot run that program because it's a
diferent OS; how can i solve this problem?; i would
apreciate i you can help me in this matter.

There's no need to run the network setup disk. Manually configure
windows 2000 pro's TCP/IP settings to obtain an IP address
automatically, and set its workgroup name to the same name you use on
XP.
