Also, .mov files can be played unconverted using RealPlayer 10

If I have video clips files on my computer in file format .mov, or .avi, can
I burn them on a cd through real player to be viewed on my tv dvd player????

MOV files must be converted into AVI files before burning.

AVI files should generally be OK.

Then you must use third party DVD burning software such as Sonic MyDVD,
Roxio or Nero to create a DVD for standalone applications.
