I need help with internet connection and themes

OK ill start of with say im not a computer person anything on the
computer i can run once it gets broken im basicly have no clue what to
do so anyway i have learned a few things and so i was getting rid of a
few programs of the reboot with msconfig and i did somthing wrong and
the computer freaked out and changed the theme and made it so i can see
the intertnet connection (im on a diffrent computer) i was just
wondering how to get things back to normal
 
Try tapping the F8 key on start-up,select "Start windows in last good
configuration" If that doesnt cut it,tap F8 again,select safe mode,enter
xp as administrator.
