I need help with Exploit-Codebase.gen

Hi , the other day I started to get this message from
mcafee.Exploit-Codebase.gen virus...How do I get rid of this I cannot
delete it.,
I'm using winxp corporate version and ie ver 6.0 something with sp1.
Any help would be appreciated.

Just in case it is being found in your "_restore" folder, have
you purged your restore points?

Additional removal instructions :

Follow these instructions

Then Install this update :
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS02-015.asp

Update your anti-virus definitions
Run your antivirus program

if that fails, try this ..

http://www.mcafeeasap.com/intl/en/content/virusscan_asap/default.asp

download the trial and run.. it will repair your problem.

Then follow this, but turn system restore on again.
