I need help fast!!

I have all new

KT7-RAID Moard board
Maxtor 60GB 6L060J3
HP CD-WRITER+ 9100
PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-106D

This week my hard drive the Maxtor started to make noise so I dont know
whats going on. My setup is the I have the Maxtor on IDE1 and the Pioneer
and HP on IDE2. Reading the KT7-Raid Manual I think I should move the
Maxtor to IDE3 with is ATA100 (i think) should I mve the pioneer and HP to
IDE4 with I also think is ATA 100

I dont get to the newgroups alot so can someone please help me at

If your drive is making noise, moving it to another cable won't do anything
for you.

No!

If you are going to post here, have the courtesy to at least watch for an
answer. The point of newsgroups is to SHARE information. The answer you get
may help someone else out as well.
 
Run the diags from Maxtor, follow their directions, and an email reply cost
$20.

i would setup my hdd as primary master ie only 1 peripheral on that
cable and set my dvd and cdrw as secondary master and slave ie 2
peripherals on the other cable
