I need FORWARD and BACKWARD Arrows for some pages, not all

I am creating a web site for an artist. Some categories have multiple pages,
others have just one or two. But when I create a "Previous Page and Next
Page" with directional arrows, they appear on all pages. So, for the last
page of a category, I would therefore only need Previous Page.
What do I need to do?
