A resume is a chronological list of relevant skills and experiences - only
you know what those are.
Word includes some resume templates that you can use as a start point.

And search Google for resumes. Thousands of people have posted their resumes
on the Internet: use them as good (or bad) examples.

Having frequently had to sift through resumes on many occasions, the biggest
tip I will let you have is to always keep it simple and less than a single
double-sided sheet. Anything long and or with fancy frills will be binned
before it is read.

You should see some of the hideous - and I do mean HIDEOUS - templates for
resumes available in PrintShop. You'd be grabbing the wastecan to toss your
cookies. When I saw them I was speechless.........and that RARELY happens!

It's not the way a resume looks (at least not completely) - it's the
content. Spelling and grammar does count and so does layout but to a
lesser degree.
