Hello, I need an enhanced recent documents feature for windows xp.
One that would list more than the standard one would allow.
[Preface note. I don't have a recommend note for you. Just posting an
extended metoo note.]
I de-activated my recent docs thing in Windows years ago, because of
disliking its lack of choice of extensions to track. At the beginning,
I'd tried using a bat that systematically deleted by extension -- esp
targeting all that annoying *.zip.lnk clutter. But that was no help for
its lack of support on those document types that I might want handy.
Long time ago, I'd eval'd briefly one payware, called something like
RecentDocs 97. Brief eval only, since I did not feel motivated into the
direction of purchase. What was useful for me in trying the app was in
learning that something can be effectively done to improve, give
customization to, Windows recent docs extension.
I haven't noticed any freeware for this. I'd be at least curious about,
and likely interested in trying, any possible candidates for this role.
