Being a constant "tweaker," I decided to delete some duplicate files from my
second hard drive. After merrily deleting almost everything in My Documents
on what I thought was my second drive, I discovered that I had deleted the
actual real deal My Documents on my primary drive! Now I have some kinda old
backups, but I will still lose a lot. Most all bypassed the recycle bin. Is
there any way to undelete these directories? I have not as yet written
anything to the hard drive. Well, almost nothing, anyway! Thanks in advance.

You could TRY:

Executive Softwares UNDELETE product is a great program.. You might consider
investing it it as well.

I am using Pc Inspector File recovery. It is free and great.

Thanks, Shenan, I'm downloading the trial version of the UNDELTE program, and
I'll check out the URL you provided. I appreciate your tips. I am now one of
the victims of their own demise, and a firm believer in timely backups!
