I am working with Windows XP Home Ed. and Internet
Explorer 6.0. I was browsing the net and some unknown
keyboard shortcut caused the Windows XP taskbar at the
bottom the computer to dissapear when surfing in IE 6. I
tried to change all kinds of setting in XP and IE and I
have searched the net and the knowledge base, I cannot
figure out how to get the Windows XP taskbar back when I
use IE. It is not fullscreen mode either, it is like
fullscreen mode, but for only the bottom of the display,
and it is not auto-hide in XP either, I have tried those
options. I am bewildered. When I am not in IE I have
the Windows XP taskbar and I can ALT-Tab my way around,
but I would like to have my old friend the taskbar back
when net surfing, can anyone help me find my lost friend?
Thanks, Anthony Mominee

I tried your suggestion and it just adds the Status bar,
but in a maximized window, the Windows Tak bar still
dissapears. So that suggestion did not work, but thanks
for the idea.
