I was playing around with addins and now Outlook can not find the project
file. I have a file named VbaProject.OTM

Please any ideas?

Thank you,
Ken

See if it's listed in disabled items. Help, About Microsoft Office
Outlook, Disabled Items. If it is select it and click on Enable. Exit
and restart Outlook.

Thank you,
I didn't know about that.

Unfortunately, there was nothing listed.

Thanks for the idea. Do you have any other.

I tried uninstalling Outlook 2003 and reinstalling it. It still can not find
the VBA Project file.

Does this trigger any ideas?

TIA

Can you open the Outlook VBA window at all (Alt+F11)?

VBAProject.OTM is a file stored in the file system and if it still
exists can be found using Windows Explorer if Explorer has been set to
show system and hidden folders. For Outlook 2003 the usual location of
VBAProject.OTM would be at C:\Documents and
Settings\<profilename>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

If the file is there but Outlook can't load it then most likely it's
corrupted and anything in it is lost to you. There's no way to fix a
corrupted OTM file so Outlook can use it. If that's the case just
rename it or delete it and the next time you open the VBA window
Outlook should create a brand new VBA project file.

Thank you,
I actually decided to byte the bullet last night and do that. I did have
the code mostly saved. I was converted it to VB.NET. So, I just had to
reconvert it back. I know the corruption had something to do with the VB.Net
code excuting. But, I don't know what it was. It will be a couple of weeks
before I have time to work on it again.

But I got my program running again that updates the Outlook Today page with
unread email boxes. That is a nice feature.
