I lost my calendar, how do I restore?

I use office 2000 with Win XP I've used the calendar for years, and have
been syncronizing with my palm pilot for about a year. Recently I lost the
ability to see my appointments in calendar, which appears to be empty. I can
create a new appointment, but I cant see it, I can synch with my palm but
nothing shows up in the calendar.
Seems as if some errant keystroke wiped out my ability to see my calendar.
So far I attempted to reinstall, ofice to no avail, looking for the magic
bullet.
 
Do you have a "view" set on the calendar? What happens if you switch to a
Day/Week/Month view?
