HELLO NURSE.

everything you could think of...

diamond tip grinders
cutting discs of different materials
sanding disks

search the web,,,,maybe the,,,,dremal site?

Do other people make tools for the dremel that are compatibile ?? or
is dremel the only one ?

It's like a drill: If it fits the chuck it'll work.

If your talking about bits yes. I have a router base, drywall and the
favorite for computer use a right angle attachment. They attach to the nose
of the tool. Theirs at least 2 more attachments. The Dremel attachments fit
my old Craftsman rotary tool. The old Craftsman attachments fit my new
Demel. Don't know if the new Craftsman stuff is still interchangable. No
doubt the old Craftsman rotary tool was made by Dremel.

Their must be an Atachment that fits a larger bit holder so you can
fit any sized bit into it ??

The size of the bit is alittle wimpy, nothing like a drill bit :(

Then again just asking iam just using it for cutting at the moment and
thats great.

the size of the shaft is proportional to the output of the motor.
Although you could use an adapter to accept larger shafted tools, you
could apply more downward pressure and damage the bearings and motor,
common sense factor applies here.

You so need to do a little google searching. There's tonnes of info out
there about dremel, including entire discussion sites devoted to it.

Yes, but a spell checker doesn't...

Spell/Grammar checking in a NG is a bad career choice. Please rethink
your choices.

If I had wanted to, as you put it, be 'anal' about it newgroups are a
target rich environment but I generally hold my fire.

Using the proper word is not a 'spell/grammer' issue and interchanging
"there, they're, and their" is particularly egregious.

It's a common mistake you anal twat.

That would be the problem. It shouldn't be 'common'.

It's common because people type faster than they think. I'm sure the
person knew the difference between the three.

Yeah i do type faster than i think and i change my mind when iam
typing and that confuses ME and i continute to type stuff i decided
not to a while back and well just confused :)
