I just want to find the number or way to pay for MS support on Outlook 2007.
I can not find a link or number. Help!
So let's see what happens when I follow the obvious links ...
Went to
http://www.microsoft.com/.
Clicked the "Contact Us" link at the bottom.
Clicked on the "View Customer Service Solution Centers" link.
Technical Support is not explicitly identified on this page.
Clicked on the Contacts link under "More Customer Service information".
Well, there are some contacts there (e-mail, chat, and phone number).
At the bottom is a "View product support for technical issues" link.
Clicked it.
Clicked on the "More Office Products..." link.
Clicked on the "Outlook 2007" link.
Hovered the mouse over the "Contacts" string. Brings up a couple links.
Clicked on the "Outlook 2007" link.
Didn't know what *edition* you have so just picked the first one listed.
You didn't specify how the license is used. Picked the 1st one (personal).
You never bothered to identify your problem area. So I picked "Other".
Clicked "I Accept".
You can take it from there. There might be other avenues to finding
technical support. In this one where I simply started from their "Contact
Us" link right on their home page, I hit one web page with contacts and then
progressed further to see if more focused contacts could be found (but got
stuck at the point where they want to install an AX control to determine
what edition of the product that you have).
Enjoy.
