I just pulled up a Word Doc and...

....all of a sudden there is the option to send the doc as an email, which I
didn't want to do. I don't know what caused the Word interface change unless
I accidentally struck a setting somewhere. I don't use Word for email. I use
OE.
I want to get rid of this Email option which takes up about a third of my
page. Help anyone?

Likely -- you inadvertently clicked on the email button on the Standard
Toolbar (near the Print Button) which turns the email header on/off in your
document. The toolbar button is a toggle -- so if you click it again -- it
should go off.
