Here's a tip for you if you run into problems trying to reboot Win 98 (or
other Windows versions) and it hangs never allowing you to do anything
more...even in safe mode.
I chose the create BOOTLOG.TXT option and let it crash.
Then rebooted into safe mode command prompt only and looked at the file.
The last entry was enumerated floppy disk drive -- I have two drives
connected a 3.5 and a 5.25
Then I remember reading on some ATI RADEONS there's a power issue it might
be drawing too much or insufficient current and causing problems...so I
disconnected both floppies and disabled them both from the BIOS and viola!
Problem solved.
Hope this helps if you get into a similar situation -- man it was ****ing
frustrating!
