All the other posts in here are automated questions and answers.

This is the ONLY explanation since:
1) Whenever I ask something I NEVER get a reply
2) whenever I post a reply to someone I never get a "thank you" or any other
form of feedback. Not even an insult from a troll!

Thus I have realized that I am the only human poster in the microsoft
newsgroups. All other post are random posts generated my a computer.

go ahead. I have an HP computer with 1.3ghuz processor
and only 110mb of ram. i wanna upgrade to 256mb, but i
don't wanna pay HP's price. how can i know what is
compatible off of ebay?
 
You can go to www.crucial.com and look up your computer to
see what kind of RAM you need.
www.kingston.com and www.pny.com also have similar
look-up services.
You can download the free programs from www.belarc.com or
http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php
which will scan your computer and return a report to you
what your computers full specs are (you'll be amazed).

BTW, this is a newsgroup is not setup to guarantee a
personal reply to all questions. You may in fact find the
answer to your question by searching and looking at other
answers already posted. Google can search news groups, such
as this.

Tell us what kind of ram it is: SDRAM 133, SDRAM 100, etc., and we can help.
