I installed the patch and still can't "Empty Deleted Items"

I click Empty Deleted Items and it only deletes 1 at a time. I can go to my
deleted items folder, select all, and hit delete and it deletes them all, but
"empty..." won't. In previous Windows e-mail programs i.e. Outlook,
"empty..." would delete them all. Does it not do that in Windows Mail?
