I have this message that the links need to be updated. why?

when i open my excell file it says that one of my link needs to be updated
and when I click on update now nothing happen and again it happens. I don't
know which link is like that and maybe my link is OK. how should I find which
link needs to be correct?

Two checks:

1) menu Edit, Links: if is shaded, there are no direct links;
2) menu Insert, Names, Define: check if there are names referred to ranges
that are on other workbook and if you are not using these names in your
current workbook you can delete them.
